Captain Kaelin Olayer was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and has lived in Englewood, Florida for the last 20 years. Since moving to the area, Kaelin has spent countless days on the water familiarizing himself with the fisheries of the Gulf of Mexico, Boca Grande, Lemon Bay, Charlotte Harbor, Pine Island, and surrounding areas. He decided to turn his lifelong hobby into a career, and has been a full time fishing guide for 8 years now. Captain Kaelin utilizes his knowledge and years of fishing experience to make sure that his clients have an amazing time on the water! In his free time, Captain Kaelin enjoys fishing local tournaments, bass fishing, and spending time with his daughter.

Captain Kaelin has participated in a variety of fishing tournaments in the area. Captain Kaelin has fished the Flatsmasters Redfish Series with Team Budweiser for the last several years, and has brought home numerous 1st place titles and several top 5 finishes. They have won 1st place 2013 Flatsmasters Redfish Series, Team of the Year for the 2016 Flatsmasters season, 1st place in the 2015 Flatsmasters Championship and 1st Place in the 2017 Flatsmasters Championship. Captain Kaelin and his team have also won 1st place in the Downtown Showdown Tournament in 2015 & 2017, and 2nd place in 2016. Captain Kaelin of Team Flyin' Hawaiian had the honor of winning first place in the 2021 World's Richest Tarpon Tournament!
